Michael Fassbender to Star in Assassins Creed Movie Adaptation

Michael Fassbender will be involved in the movie adaptation of Assassins Creed according to Variety. The Prometheus actor will take the lead role in Assassins Creed as well as being co-producer of the movie.

Head of Ubisoft Motion Pictures, Jean-Julien Baronnet, said  ”Michael Fassbender was our first choice.” He also went on to say that Fassbender is “an extremely smart, talented, versatile and committed actor.”

Assassins Creed III (the videogame version) will be released this October. If the Assassins Creed movies do happen to take off then there will be at least three movies for them to make all from different time periods.
