SimCity Social Now Available on Facebook

SimCity Social, a collaboration between Maxis and PlayFish was released on Facebook yesterday according to the games publisher EA. SimCity Social brings one of the most popular simulation games of all time to Facebook making it free for all to play.

If you happen to be a fan of the franchise then you are no doubt highly anticipating the release of SimCity 5 which is expected to be released in 2013. Until the release of the full featured PC game though Facebook will have you covered.

The social aspect of SimCity Social means that you will in fact be working with your Facebook friends to build the best city possible. You can invite friends on the social network to help build your city but you can also build rivalries with friends cities which adds another twist to the game. EA also stated that the dynamics of the game will allow for various ways to build your city whether utilizing your friends as foes or enemies.
