Ninja Turtle Reboot Delayed Until 2014

Were you excited for the Ninja Turtle reboot from Michael Bay? If you were you’ll be waiting a little longer as Paramount has said the movie will be on an indefinite hold. Sources close to the movie have since come out and claimed a 2014 release date is more likely.

It wouldn’t be unimaginable for the project to be shelved altogether due to backlash from the movie going community over Bay’s decision to re-imagine the turtles as extraterrestrials.

Coming Soon has updated their information page for Michael Bay’s Ninja Turtles Reboot citing a May 16th, 2014 release date. Maybe the extra time could be put to some good use by the production team to drop the alien angle and go with something that is similar to the story many of us loved growing up.
