Photoshop Comes to the iPad Monday, $9.99

Adobe Photoshop has been around on Android devices for some time now and finally the app will be coming to the iPad on Monday priced at $9.99.

The most likely cause of the delay to the iPad is the troubling relationship that Apple and Adobe have had together, mainly stemming from debates over the need of Flash, another Adobe product. If you use an iPad or iPhone you will have noticed that Flash websites just won’t work. Steve Jobs was an avid believer that Flash had no place, anywhere. Jobs tried during his latter days at Apple to push HTML 5 over Flash and made sure that Flash would not find its way into iOS devices, to this day it still hasn’t.

Photoshop Touch will use Adobe’s new Creative Cloud allowing users to store projects in the cloud and access them on their computers and their tablets whether at home or on the go. The app will likely sell very well for Adobe and will no doubt bring in some decent revenues during its time on the Apple App Store.

Adobe also mentioned that other iOS apps that will use Creative Cloud will launch later in the year.
